Dear Santa,

At the dawn of a new year, I wish for the earth health and longevity, and for us peace and prosperity.

I wish for thicker polar ice caps and a denser ozone layer. I wish for expanding rain forests, and growing oceanic faunas.

I wish an end for poverty and disease, and a renaissance for humanity. I wish for a year free of revolutions -- everyone embracing the promises of evolution.

I wish for an end to violence -- of any shape and form --under any disguise.

I wish for dialogue and trade among nations, not wars of aggression. I wish for a benign WTO and an omnipresent IAEA.

I wish the demise of both Neo-conservatism and militant Jihadism. I pray for a world without occupation and an end to suicide bombing.

I wish for a world free of predator drones and without improvised explosive devices.

I wish for what Dr. King dreamed of and John Lennon imagined.

Lastly, I wish for a less imperial America, and a more secular Iran.

Love,

Well Wisher
