If you’re talking about Saman, I think you have mistaken him with someone else. Even if true, that means he has corrected his erroneous views, which is something to be proud of and encouraged.

No. I'm talking about the right guy. He used to blog and comment on Iranian.com under "Saman." He even once identified himself as Saman Arbabi. He was a big Palestine chest beater even when he had his show with Kambiz Hosseini. He's one of those who connects Iranians' struggle against the IR to the whole Palestine thing. That type of B.S. kind of like Dabashi. He attacked me personally multiple times and called me a Zionist because I wouldn't defend Hamas like he was doing at the time.

Saman Arbabi that I know is totally different than the one you are talking about.

Lets not forget the imposters on the net. However, even if it is the same guy, he should be applauded for correcting his way and putting Iran and Iranians emancipation on top of his agenda.

One -The proof of a claim, in this case the one you make against Saman, is the duty of the claimant.

Two- I do not know him personally except what he has posted on line that I’ve seen and his work with VOA. 

I wish I could link his blogs, comments, and personal attacks (all Palestine related) from the old Iranian.com. But the archives seem to have disappeared and I don't have the time to spend all day looking them up. I know who this guy is though---from personal experience, and that is enough for me.

Just look at screen capture above by 1b1s1b from iranian.com , you see the known filth NIACI/IRI multi user ID cyber operatives "Faramarz" and "Manooch saadat Noori" very active in iranian.com!!!

God I hate those hotter-bowl-than-aash types that go around dragging everyone into the Palestinian Cock n Bull story. It seems like there’s one everywhere you look. Here’s one local case I remember. She went around protesting police brutality on behalf of all Iranians against Israelis.

Unlike many here, I’m not afraid to express my wish to have that backassward country called Iran to be bombed to the stone age. Give them the war they are itching for. Let them taste the sharbat of shahadat they so passionately long for. Who are we kidding? The Islamists have already destroyed Iran in the past 40 years beyond recognition. Both the place and the people. NOTHING is left of the old Iran. The current country and its people had no problem taking away 40 years of our lives and sending it to hell. We are the actual fucking Nasl-e sookhteh. For real. And we’ll all die in exile. All of us. So why the fuck should I care about them? I say: Bomb the shit out of Tehran, Qom, Mashad, Isfahan, Shiraz,...until nothing’s left of it. They deserve no better.

Zolf - Trust me. This saman guy is the same Saman on Iranian.com. I don't exectly remeber the details now, but there was one incident in which he was verified to be the same guy on the old iranian.com. I also recall seeing a video of him once where he was beating his chest for Palestine. And here's a photo of him in South Lebanon doing "photography" during Hezbollah's fight with Israel. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that he was there to document "Zionist atrocities." No other reason for him to be there, really.

That was no Shakila on iranian.com when it came to this guy. It was the real guy. 

Dear Fes- The reason they throw in the Palestine thing is clear. It's a distraction. It's a conflict that has been going on for almost 70 years with no end in sight. The brightest minds in the world haven't been able to resolve it, and chances are that the average Joe like you and I won't be able to do either. It's a black hole when it comes to  debates. So, they throw it in to distract and to get you bogged down in a nevr ending "safsateh" and divert attention. Classic red herring that has nothing to do with Iran and anything that has to do with Iran. It's also a straw man argument by which they try to arribute to you what you're not really arguing--usually that if you say anything negative about the IR you're supporting Israel.

I concur that the cartoonist on the old IC with the pen name ‘Saman’ was indeed the Saman Arbabi that cohosted the show with Kambiz Hosseini. I think he once showed one of his cartoons in one of the TV episodes. 

and I think his pro-pal stance stems from his leftist views (and not necessarily because he’s pro-Islamic or anything).

It goes deeper than that AO. I’ve never understood why there is such ideological hatred for Jews and Israel amongst Iranians in the first place. Did we adopt this shit from 19th and 20th century Europe when our students went to farang to study? Or does this originate from early Islam and Mohammed’s enmity toward the Jews? Whatever the case may be, all I have ever personally seen from Jews and Israelis was kindness, help without expecting anything in return, very high intelligence, and progress. So when an Iranian goes around claiming to represent us all saying shit about Israel and Jews, it offends me. Because I never signed up for that hatred.
