Russia says it has captured more settlements in eastern Ukraine while advancing towards the military hub of Pokrovsk. Moscow says its forces have captured the villages of Memryk and Novohrodivka. Pokrovsk is strategically important as it lies on a road that supplies Ukrainian troops and towns across the eastern front. Meanwhile the EU says Iran is supplying ballistic missiles to Russia. Russian forces now control about a fifth of Ukraine, since launching their full-scale invasion in February 2022. We spoke to military analyst Marina Miron, from Kings College London, about how this could change the dynamics of the war.
