The photo attached is a full-frontal facial view(2004, age 60 in Hobart). The photo has a light side and a dark side as is obvious to the viewer. This is an appropriate photo to symbolize my lower and higher natures. These are natures that reach for spiritual, ethical, moral heights and attainments on the one hand and that get caught up with the world of mire and clay, or shadowy and ephemeral attachments or the lower self on the other---as some psychologists call the more animal side of one's nature.
Chris and Ron Price in a photo taken in 1999 on the eve of Ron’s retirement from FT teaching after thirty-two years in classrooms as a teacher and another 18 as a student. Half a century in classrooms was enough and it was time for something else in his life. It would be a life with much more time spent with his wife; hence the relevance of this photo in 1999. In reality, though, it was much more time spent teaching the Cause in a way that was not anticipated at the time: on the internet, on the world wide web with a tool which was just emerging on the global scene, an immensely useful teaching tool for the international Bahá’í community--little did either Ron or Chris know at the time—little did most of the Baha’i community either then or now.
