It used to be that many Iranians blamed the US and others for our problems. Now the White Trailer Trash are doing the same thing.

The world is changing at a rapid pace because of technology, automation, globalization, etc. and some folks are falling off the wagon. The easiest thing is to blame the migrants and people who look different. Steve Bannon recognized this and became the architect of Make America Great Again for Trump.

China has a lot of problems to overcome including poverty, environmental issues and human rights, but to say one's intellect is dictated by race is short-sighted and narrow-minded. 

Take a child from anywhere and put him/her in an environment that fosters progressive thoughts; the child is bound to do well regardless of his/her genes. 

This will of course be influenced by this child's nature....., the inner self....no doubt.......but still, his/her environment is a major factor -- Nature vs. Nurture.

After 2 thermonuclear detonation on their soil, the Japanese went on to become a major world economic power regardless of whose help they got (which is totally a separate subject).

Speaking of analogies, what do you think of colonization and slavery?
