Deeply Sad upon hearing about the passing away of one of Shapour Bakhtiar's close associates Hamid Zolnoor. We did not share the same views on the monarchy given he was a Republican but I had known him as a teenager when he visited a common friend at our house here in Le Chesnay. The last time I met him was in Paris 3 years ago at he Paris Gathering commemorating the Late PM and his secretary Soroush Katibeh.

His loyalty to the last PM of Imperial Iran and his hopes of seeing a secular democracy implemented in Iran will prevail. 

My condolences to his family, friends and loved ones.
