Amazing. Your Spiritual leader also pounced on the 5 year-old kid's case.
I am just wondering where were all the compassionate people, not to mention protesters were , when obama banned immigration from Iraq for six months?(keeping the people who worked with U.S armed forces whose life's were in danger).
They won't stand down unless they get Trump Impeached and perhaps give clinton the presidency.
That is the misson for now.
Facts vs Fiction:
https://youtu.be/OxkfeiomQog
To answer the Obama and Iraqi ban noted above, it is the way this was done that is most appalling. The way to have done this properly would have been to honor the visas already granted and start the scrutiny afterward. The way this was done ended up in a way that those even in midflight were affected, not to mention green card holders, the sick, etc., etc.
Trump's entire campaign was about undoing everything that Obama did, right or wrong. But now, his supporters, whenever they run out of excuses, they point to Obama and say, "Obama did it too!" Here is the answer to Iraqi question that I posted yesterday:
Unfortunately, because of Trump's opposition to facts and reasoning, there is a lot of Fake News that's being distributed and repeated by Khalgh-e-Khoda. Here is what happened when Obama stopped the Iraqi's from entering the US for 6 months
In May 2011, two Iraqi refugees were arrested in Kentucky on terrorism charges, the only two Iraqi refugees ever linked to terror. The FBI found something worrying: fingerprints from one of the arrested refugees, Waad Ramadan Alwan, on a roadside bomb in Iraq.
This suggested there was a very specific flaw in America’s refugee screening process: Databases of fingerprints from Iraqi militants Iraq were not well-integrated into the broader State Department–run refugee admissions process. As a result, the Obama administration initiated a new review of all roughly 57,000 Iraqis refugees who had been recently admitted into the United States.
By the way, Trump's little helper, Kellyanne Conway, over the weekend, referred to the Iraqi incident in Bowling Green Kentucky as the "Bowling Green Massacre!' Mind you, there were no attacks,, no guns, no shots fired, not even a conspiracy, just 2 Iraqi's detained once FBI got the finger prints of one of them on a roadside bomb from a database used by the US military.
Trump is praying for an attack on the US soil to justify his actions. That's sickening and morally disgusting.
"Alternative Facts".....but who's listening, ay?
I heard Webster is looking to include this phrase as a synonyms for "LIE".......
This whole thing about Obama banning immigration from Iraq for six months is complete BS. Obama slowed down the efugee admission into the U.S. from Iraq for six months while they reviewed the screening process. Even during that time, Iraqi refugees were still coming in, not to mention that other immigrants and visa holders from Iraq were not affected during that period, and were not even slowed down. And that was just one country: Iraq. Trump (or his boss Bannon) on the other hand, woke up one morning and decided to stop ALL citiznes of 7 countries --even those who had green cards, and those who were on planes already-- from cntering the country. That's just unheard of, and that's why every deferal judge who heard the case issued an injunction against it. So, please don't compare Obama's measured and thoughtful (as always) action to what this mentally ill manchild does on a daily basis.
"Trump is praying for an attack on the US soil to justify his actions."

Looking for any excuse to bash Trump and calling those who take issue with that as "trump" supporters. That , i guess would be the Height of Objectivity and righteousness in the iranian-american community.
Now, some of our distinguished contributers are taking this to an even higher level, speculating on just exactly what goes through trump's head, because i guess they just know!, and without even a shred of evidence, follow up by calling such thoughts morally repugnant and disgusting.
Bravo. Bravo. I am so god damn impressed. Just for that, i hope we all see his behind impeached out of the office. The logic is just so marvelously solid.
Watch the first minute or so of the following video. Trump was lucky did not have to run against these two old ladies.

The US Constitution gives the president of the US much power, specially when it comes to the matters of national security.
Trump is going to do a lot of other things, in the next four years, that you and I may not like, or disagree with.
But in most cases, even if challenged, the law is going to be on his side, as it is, very likely, in this current case.
Dear GR,
I am amazed at how we look at the same picture and see completely different things.
Back in 2011, Obama Administration realized that the US military database with the Iraqi terrorists’ finger prints was not integrated into the overall US homeland security database. He halted the vetting process, ran the 57,000 Iraqi refugee applicants through the system again and we were back to normal.
Trump has not stated what the problem is and how he wants to solve it. He is saying that he wants to take a look at the vetting process in the next 90 days and come up with a plan. He has yet to say what problem he is trying to solve; the 4-month old baby coming to the US for a heart surgery?
No Ali. We have 3 equal branches of the government in the US and the courts are independent of the Executive Branch. He has been extremely careless with the law and he will face resistance every step of the way.
Faramarz:
True. But traditionally, and legally, the President has "planary power", when it comes to matters of immigration, and whatever he deems matters of "national security".
The "ban", is most likely to be imposed, as he proposes.
Not necessarily Ali. Obama issued an Executive Order offering temporary legal status to the children of the illegal aliens. The Order was challenged in the courts by the States and stopped by the courts.
Following Trump's executive order, the war between modern world and medieval ideology started.
The poll shows that European countries supported the idea.
Unlike Iranians who couldn't challenge the idea back in 1970's, westerners will take care of problem perfectly.

Faramarz:
This Court is impressed by counsel's passion, and some of his homework, he apparently has done.
However, the right of foreign nationals, legally or illegally, who are physically present in the US, to access US courts, and also enjoy the constitutional rights, furnished to US citizens, in criminal cases, has long been established.
So, children of illegal aliens, born or present in the US, fall under US jurisdiction, and therefore, protected by US laws.
But foreign nationals, physically outside US soil, fall outside of the jurisdiction, and therefore US Constition does not apply to them.
And this is pretty much the norm, in just about any country on earth.
As a foreigner, entering another country is a priviledge ( and not a right), extended to you, by the government of that country, manifested here in an executive order. They can revoke it at any time they desire, and that may not be challenged in the courts of the host country.
Trump Has stated many times what the problem is, it just falls on deaf and unwilling to understand Ears!
HEy Ali p!!!
WOw....Can't even remember the last time i saw you on Iranian.com !! Good to see your writings again dude.
no question in my mind that there are people out there who will be up in arms no matter what Trumps says or does, They are just waiting for him to make one Undesirable move, something they do not like and it will be all over. It is a sort of a childish tantrum they are throwing, if you ask me. That was not the case with Obama. Even if there was any hint of opposition to his decisions , it would be a carefully weighted one, not a right-out-of-the-gate anger and disgust.
There is this strong tendency to put the spotlight on Infants and kids who just happened to be in the mix at that time and then just pounce on it and blow things out of proportion. NO ONE knows what exactly went on and what happened to that kid, SO assumptions and speculations naturally run wild.
This is a fact nobody wants to Understand that despite having three branches of the government with separate powers and the resistance that will be put up, The POTUS still has the exclusive right and the discretion to make crucial decisons.
GR jaan.
But don't you think that at least some measured and logical vettting process will be a good idea? The administration is hell-bent on using the term "extrereme vetting" and for sure that sends shiver down people's spine or gives "human rights advocates" a cause to rally around.
I seriously think that if anyone wants to visit , work or live in the states , they'd better be willing to subject themselves to some minimal form of testing/questioning. I would not mind knowing at least some things about my next door neighbor, therir background, nothing too elaborate and facny, nothing complicated and possible links they may have to nefarious crowd , IF ANY....Wouldn't you?
We can no longer pretend to be an open society, granted that we have ended up paying a hefty price for it. I wish some people out there made their collective mind up and decided where their loyalty resides.
Doctor41:
I am on the farsi side, most of the time, these days.
Come and say hello, some time :-)
We tend to "Shoot the messanger".
I posted a poll, regarding the "possibility of a military confrontation between US and Iran", and some think I am advocating that!
Or when you say Trump is likely to prevail with this EO, they think you are cheering for Trump!
Anywho. Doctor 41 doesn't ring a bell. Another name maybe?
Cheers,}
Ali P.
Dear Ali, please let me know who is trying to "shoot" you as the "messenger" and I will delete the comment immediately. I run a tight ship here on my blogs!
I see Alip

Not sure what you mean by that but......Hey...Can i crash at your place tonight? I am outta groceries and the house is a mess...we can watch old Behrooz vossogi movies!!!
GR jan
I am aware of the possibiliy of this nation not feeling any safer even if we see all of measures advocated by Trump team implemented, but we need to be pragmatic about it.
i have had this discussion with so many iranians and they pretty much bring up the same set of issues, But here is the thing, I know it is NOT fair , With them getting the better treatment while it was their government who was behind all the chaos. They maybe getting preferential treatment for whatever reason we may never even find out. But in the meantime , we have no choice but to go with what the law of the land is , be it put it place by The president, or the supreme court. How long can we go complaining about the same issue, that arabs get the red carpet treamtment while we get Sh...? IS it even practical? It has been thrown around for ages....where has it gotten us?
That is why i am saying it is no big deal if we spend a few hours going through that extra vetting procedure and do not get all emotional and go on an widespread offensive.
Sure you can crash at my place. I hold no grudges, just exchanging some thoughts even though there are disagreements...
Reason I said that your statement from above:
"We can no longer pretend to be an open society, granted that we have ended up paying a hefty price for it.................. ."
The "we" part kinda threw me off balance, I was gonna invite you for drinks!
And why, I say why would you NOT Like my comment there? What a bummer.
My god....I got l dizzy reading your super-analytical comment!! Dude! are you gonna freaking analyze crap all night long while i am lying there???
fine. I will, i mean We will keep the society open for a little longer. But just for one night deal?
Ya, I'm analytical by nature baby, but I know, sometimes things slip......I get it.... wink wink...
Ohhh.....He called me "baby" .....
Well, I am glad that you "get it".
On a second thought...I think i will make other arrangements. Thanks for being an iroon.com buddy though.
Still winking at you.....b u d d y ......
Ookkiiee....
God speed:)
GR jan,
I trust the principles upon which a country like America was founded. I am not talking about the government. It won't let those adopted this country as their home for life down. That is for sure. So, no need to worry about internment camps and such nonsense.
The regime in iran and their policy....As if No other governments in the world, especially those of the superpowers know what the hell is going on with the IRI and they are not even involved in dictating their so-called policies to them...
I don't know partner. But i think somethin' fishy is going on , when it comes to that topic.
Trump just lost in the 9th Circuit Court unanimously, a 3-0 decision, completely and convincingly. Next stop for Trump, the Supreme Court.
Donald Trump, Let My People in!
Dear Faramarz:
I appreciate the support. You do indeed run a tight ship around here. I was referring to the farsi side, as well as on social media, where tempers run high.
Congratulations on this victory today. I still won't celebrate, as this fight is not over. The 9th Circuit was, as predicted, very generous to the Washington State. This still could turn in Trump's favor.
Let us know where you want us in this fight ;-)
Maa hameh sarbaazeh to'eem, Faramarz

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy! Now Let's take the case to the SUpremes and see just how many of them are here legally!
Alip : I wanna be on the frontLine with my "leader" . think i have got a shot?:)
پس از شکست ۰-۳ ترامپ در دادگاه عالی سان فرانسیسکو, مردم آمریکا شعار های متنوعی بر علیه ترامپ و ترامپ اللهی ها سر دادند

Sooppoor what???
In another blow to Trump, the 9th Circuit Court also ruled last night that Ivanka Trump's clothing brand can only be sold at the Home Depot and the Goodwill Store!
Can you imagine the president of US of A making a case - or as is with Trump arguing - for retail stores to support his daughter's line of clothing instead of dumping it?
Where all all the ethics hawks on this?
Trump was peddling Ivanka's ass on the Howard Stern show. So peddling her clothing brand is nothing unusual.
I am sorry did someone say....anti-trumpistas can blow it out of their Ass..???
Faramarz jan,
