Tens of Thousands of small farmers  sold their lands and moved int to cities (Sorry  not every one can function as a business owner) bringing with them their peasent, traditional  culture and way of life which colided with modernity and city living.Years later these people became foot solider for mullah's and khomeini and the rest is history as they say.
