Is it not interesting how Ronald Reagan has been accused by NIAC and IRI apologists for empowering the IRI when in fact Trita Parsi's mentor was largely involved in behind the scene negotiations with Iran.

As much as the young generation ( which includes the NIAC Founder ... barely 5 years old at the time of the Islamic Revolution) often blame the Republican administrations of having "double standards" the fact remains that these young Middle East and Iran "Experts" never seem to mention ( for convenient reasons no doubt) that the US Government and institutions do not change merely because a new president is elected in office.

Ronald Reagan credited for negotiating the US Hostage liberation on the day of his inauguration announcing it triumphantly to a humiliated Jimmy Carter has been accused by the same NIAC "moral majority" of having not only entered negotiations with the Rafsanjani close circle in order to negotiate an covert financial deal with the Islamic republic in order to finance Nicaraguan guerrilla when in fact NIAC's mentor Zbigniew Brzezinski was at the forefront of the behind the scene negotiations.

Similarily the same Polish Born Zbigniew Brzezinski ( sided see below by IRI apologist Gary Sick ) boldly rushed to Pakistan border to encourage "Jihadism" in Afghanistan to counter Soviet Intervensionism with rumors that he even met the then unknown Osama Bin Laden.

Anyone familiar with the intricacies of political realism on Capitol Hill knows full well that Foreign Policy advisors will work with both administrations ( Democrat or Republican and vice versa) to advise the new President on national security issues because America's security transcends political ideology.

Hence as such  Zbigniew Brzezinski served as "adviser" ( however a disastrous one ) to the Reagan administration as he did under Jimmy Carter.

So why is Reagan targetted as the "evil" mastermind of the deal with a regime which it was supposed to oppose ?

Answer: Hypocrisy of the Liberal Left and IRI NIAC Apologists so rampant  in the Iranian American Diaspora too gullible to believe their lies.

Tomorrow the same foreign policy advisors will be "advising" the next US President regardless of whether it is Trump or Clinton.

As such Iranians regardless of their political ideology have nothing to expect of the next incumbent president no more than they had anything to expect in the current IRI empowerer Barak Hussein Obama.
