These days “tribal” is a common expression. It seems to be replacing the term “partisan.” 

That said, just look at the way the Dems are behaving. Their display of savagery has little to do with Kavanaugh. Kavanaugh is an excuse. It’s all politics. And it!s Trump they are after. 

You see my dear Gaijin Republican (GR) friend, it's not just the Dem's who are against Trump. It's also the smart independent people like me who despise him, his policies, his nominees and everything about him.
