With sincere aplogiez for those Iranians who are waiting for Trump to "liberate" Iran from the mullahs. I also think that Trump will go ahead with the Boeing deal with the IR as well. Boeing just laid off 1800 workers. I don't think Trump wants to be the president under whom Boeing goes bankrupt. 100 planes is a lot of money--and jobs--for Boeing.
Continuity is an integral part of the US foreign policy. Changes are also implemented when necessary. In the same manner that "Obama" continued with "George Bush's" foreign policy while making some changes, "Trump" will also continue with "Obama's" and will make the changes when and where there is a need for change.
Let's keep in mind that US's foreign policy apparatus/the State Department is there to oversee the implementation of all foreign policies by different administrations.
But he will teaar the Ass off Ali khayeh-many, Hasan Rooh_ani, seyed javad zaif, trita parsi and every single palistinian loving NIACi malijak and their khaar &madar.
And they have been put on notice!
Mark my words -- he will use NIAC also. Tough talking administrations ususally use back channels more than others. Just like Reagn did.
Of course Eveybody "uses" Trita Parsi. He is up for sale. But what do they do with him after he's been used?
No one should expect Trump to liberate Irann from anything, Let alone the IRI. Yet at the same time, The pipe-dream of "iranians should think of a strategy" it is just that: a Pipe dream. They need outside support And NOT NECESSARILY in the form of A US Invasion.
General Mad Dog Mattis will tear Trita Parsi and Hooman Majd new ones!
That is , if he hasn't already....There were some loud noises around here , man...
Prior to the war with Afghanistan, Boeing laid off 30,000 employees and there were plans to lay off 20,000 more. I don't recall many people blaming Bill Clinton for the loss of those jobs. However, as soon as the war began and GW ordered hundreds of military planes, Boeing started rehiring. War has always been a lucrative business for the military industrial complex.
