Congress on Wednesday voted overwhelmingly to override a veto by President Obama for the first time, passing into law a bill that would allow the families of those killed in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks to sue Saudi Arabia for any role in the plot.

The law allows families of the Sept. 11 victims to alter lawsuits already underway — or file new suits — to directly sue Saudi Arabia and to demand documents and other evidence. It amends a 1976 law that grants foreign countries broad immunity from American lawsuits. Now nations can be sued in federal court if they are found to have played any role in terrorist attacks that killed Americans on United States soil.

Above news is a breath of fresh air, alas, congress did not stand up to Obama’s disastrous appeasement policy much sooner, it could have saved a lot of innocent lives lost, for example in Syria, and prevented a ticking nuke bomb with at best a 10 year timer.

Nevertheless, I like to take this opportunity to congratulate the elected representatives of the American people for finally doing the right thing and override Obama’s veto of a necessary correction to an antiquated law.

To my mind, President Obama will be remembered for his policy of appeasement, which among other monumental failures has empowered Islamist barbarians.

The influx of millions of refugees, mostly Syrians, fleeing Islamist barbarians into Europe is just one aspect of Obama’s legacy. The other and potentially more devastating is his legacy nuke deal with the Islamist fascist Führer.

Under the faulty Obama legacy nuke deal, even if Islamist fascists abide by all the provisions of the deal, in 10 years they can legally have nuke bomb(s). Just imagine the savage, warmongering, uber anti- American Islamist fascists –“reformers” and all- with nuke, just like the nut in North Korea.
