How much snow did you guys get in Boston?
They say it snowed in Yazd too:)
brother kamal.
whay people are blurred in this photo? was your hand shaking when you took this photo? i have a special setting on my camera that even when i am doing something and moving fast any photo i take comes out very clear. maybe you have such feature on your camera too. let me know if you need more information.
We had a cold and snowy 13 -bedar here also. I was in the woods already, and I took my "sabzeh" with me and threw it into a river. Even in Iran, they had a snowy 13-bedar in some places like Hamedan, Tabriz and Ardebil.
i_c_w: We got 3" in a western suburb of Boston but some Northwestern cities and towns reported as much as 8 inches while Boston received just about one inch.
Brother seyed.javad: I picked a random photo from internet. Little that I know about photography it appears that the camera was placed on a tripod and the shutter was left open for about 2 seconds.
Docter41: It is funny that you mentioned Yazd. A very good friend of mine is on a train heading towards Yazd as I type these words :)
A_O: I thought you were a Bostonian too! I guess not. In this area I remember having snow as late as May 17 (1976 or 77) and as early as October 1st (1980?)
Thanks. It's snowing in Boston now! Where are you? I'd like to meet you! Maybe two of us can go and beat the life out of Kaveh Arftabehsiabi! Please let me know when! :-)
Haha, I'm in Waltham and yes it is snowing. I used to live in Winchester for about 25 years until my divorce :) As for Lotfollah, it is a shame what he turned out to be. Say what you like but he was one hell of a smart kid. I used to hang out with his sister L.... at get togethers. She seemed to be a normal girl.
Dear Kamal - Not Boston, but the Northeast. I love Boston though. I go there a few times a year.
A_O, Let me know next time you are in town! Have you been to this place?
Will do Inspector! I have heard of Legal Sea Foods. Unfortunately, I am a vegan! We'll find a place on Newberry Street though. The last time I was there, I went to this Iranian place, Fiouna. As always, there wasn't a vegan selection, but I put something together for myself.
By all means, A_O jaan. We will find you the best vegan place in town! Just let us know when!
Thanks Inpsector!
The issue with most Vegan restaurants is the ambiance. The majority of them look like a sub shop, But just like aging, if you don't mind it doesn't matter. Knowing the culture up here perhaps People's Republic of Cambridge would have more to offer, just make sure that your passport is in order :)
A lot of those places are like that, but you have to look. There are a couple of really nice vegan places (one fine dining actually) where I live. I've found nices places in Florida, and NYC, of course. If all fails though, you can always go to an Italian place. Lot of carbs, but still, you can find vegan dishes.
