To me there are several things at play in here, just because Yarshater signed this it does not mean that he worships Sewdish meatball and NIAC, but the bigger issue was/is Reza Pahlavi himself. His lack of leadership, being uncharesmatic, his soft stance against mullah's,  constant appologies to MKO, Jumhorikhah, mossadegholahi crowd for his father and finally his lack of desire to be a king by keep saying 'I just likes to have a role in future Iran' (No offense but janitors will have role in future iran as well!) leads me to believe his heart is not into it, and that has casued many people to give up on him (including me) and some will seek the alternative either compromizing with the regime or seek more serious opposition figures out there if any. 

Most of these "prominent international relation scholars!!!!" I have not even heard of! The few I heard of!

1) Reza Aslan: is a "islamic scholar", by definition an oxymoron! Also a prominent joo hater and supporter of islamist state of iran.

2) hamid dabashi: a well know joo hater and supporter of palistinian terrorism , in his seventies , potentialy suffering from alzheimer and last , not least a regular contributer to this site!!!!

3) trita parsi: well known west residing crony of ayatollahs , life long leader of mullahs lobby in washington DC, known as NIAC, owner of the pro islamic, anti semite, pro hamas/hezboolah site iranian.com . he is not a joo hater, but he loves money and does anything for money!!!

4) rouzbeh parsi: brother of trita parsi (say no more)!!!

5) Noam chomsky and arvand ebrahimian: both in their late 70's 80's, suffering from alzhaimer, but not as bad as dabashi!!!

6) Juan cole: This guy knows what he is talking about and his support for the deal need to be noted and not ignored like the rest! this "peace loving lefty!" strongly supported  the US/obama attack on Lybia leading to Gaddafi being overthron and  soddomized before being shot ( all filmed and youtubed!!!). This last one might give you a clear indication of what this deal might be all about!!!!!
