Satellite images released Saturday night reveal the extent of the damage caused by the Israeli retaliation attack on Iranian targets in the Damascus International Airport last week.

The images, which were provided by the company ImageSat International (ISI), display some of the targets from above as they looked prior to the strike as opposed to what they looked like after it.

The aerial pictures illustrate what remained of an Iranian weapons storage compound, headquarters and other structures in the wake of the May 10 strike

On Thursday morning, Israeli fighter jets attacked dozens of Iranian targets- among them intelligence sites, military camps and weapons storage facilities. The Israeli army stated that the strike was the most extensive Israeli attack in Syria in decades. It was carried out in response to a barrage of 20 rockets that were fired from Syria at Israeli military outposts.
