A Florida man imprisoned in Iran before being released as part of a prisoner swap earlier this year has filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the Iranian government.

Farzad N. Khosravi of Marco Island, Florida, filed the lawsuit Monday in federal court in the District of Columbia, seeking more than $40 million. Khosravi was identified by officials as Nosratollah Khosravi-Roodsari when he was one of four Americans released in January.
