History erroneously has labeled Western oil companies as moneygrubbing bloodsuckers with the morality and ethics of a tick, in actual terms, these oil companies are only after spreading freedom and democracy, and should that mean to earn a few billion a month, so much the better.

In a Financial Times interview with Total Chief Executive Officer Patrick Pouyannein, he says during dinner at Davos economic summit , he talked with President Trump about ex-president Obama’s faulty legacy nuke deal with the Islamist fascist Führer ruler of Iran.

According to Pouyannein, he told Trump to stay in the deal and give the “reformers” a chance to bring “more democracy” to Iran, after all, he asked Trump, “have we given them enough time?

He also told Trump, the deal “gives the reformist the opportunity to create more jobs and bettering the economy, and should we not stay in the deal, we have not helped the reformers”

The democracy activist who moonlights as Total’s Chief Executive Officer says Trump just listened and did not respond.

Western oil companies are misunderstood bunch by whole lot of people, mostly in the Middle East and especially in Iran, for them spreading democracy is job one.

If only Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi had understood this, had not pushed to finish what the late Prime Minister Mossadegh started with oil nationalization, Islamist fascists would have never come to power in Iran.

Airtight sanctions, a la against the despicable South Africa apartheid, works. U.S. lawmakers get to it.
