THE FACE OF IRAN ... Dennis Briskin made these photographs while living among the people in central Iran during the years 1967-69. Locations include Arak, Hamadan, Qom, Kashan, Esfahan and Tehran. They show scenes of daily life in the traditional Middle East as it was before the coming of the modern world: no cars, no machinery, the heavy work done by animal power of donkeys, horses and oxen.
