این ویدوئو که بخشی از کنسرت نینا سیمون در فستیوال مونترو است (۱۹۷۶) یک گوهر بی‌نظیر است. تنها دربارهٔ‌ موسیقی نیست. دربارهٔ اجتماع و رابطهٔ قدرت و جدال بر سر قدرت و شخصیت استثنائی این زن نیز هست. و البته پیش از هرچیز دربارهٔ موسیقی است، حتی آنجا که شعر آهنگ را از عصبانیت فراموش می‌کند ولی گزارش همان فراموشی را هم به عنوان بخشی از موسیقی، استادانه به موسیقی می‌افزاید! می‌خواستم بیشتر بنویسم ولی کامنتی در یوتیوب دیدم از Rex Mundi (اگر نام واقعی باشد)که زحمت مرا کم می‌کند!

I don't think Nina's onstage behaviour has anything to do with insanity or bitchiness, what you see here is the sheer desperation and loneliness of a depressed woman yearning for love and contact with other human beings. She seems to want to get to know everyone in the audience rather than play for them. There's also a lot of barely-concealed unresolved anger and ambivalence about being a black woman playing for a predominately white audience, which constantly threatens to derail the performance. Fortunately though, no matter how high or low she's feeling, Queen Nina the brilliant artist always delivers a great performance, and ultimately that's all that matters. Without that these videos would be unbearable.
