It is New Year in many parts of the world. It is time to be merry and joyful. One of the time-honored traditions is to make a New Year wish.

If I’m allowed to have only one wish, let it be that countless Iranians who are currently languishing in the Islamist fascist –“reformers” and all- prisons are emancipated. And on top of the list, let it be those captives who are on hunger strike, many in their second month.

One captive, Arash Sadeghi, is in his 69th day of hunger strike to protest the 6 years enslavement of his wife, Gilrokh, for writing a story in her diary about the savagery of stoning human beings by the Islamist fascists in Iran.

Sanction works, U.S. Senate, get to it.
