More than 80 whales are stranded on India’s southern coast. The short-finned pilot whales began washing up on beaches on Monday evening in the port town of Tuticorn in the Tamil Nadu state. Officials have rescued and taken at least 36 back to sea, but they appeared disorientated, some returning to the beach.
