Thank you for the translation. Where is the original text? And where it comes from?
There, I fixed the problem, dear Souri. The original poem, which is posted in the Farsi section of iroon.com, and the English version of it is by me. Thank you.
What an epic! MPD! You should make it into an Iranian rap song. This is awesome! Your poem covers everything: social issues (the gender apartheid), environmental issues (the dying of Urmia lake), and political issues (persecution of political prisoners). You should talk to Shahin about your poem!
The Chinese disposable virginity cracked me up! So they prefer faked virginity over honesty!
I looked up Zakariya Razi in Wikipedia! Wow! Another Persian genius!
P.S. I hope you have archived your old blogs and poems on IC somewhere. All my photo essays on IC are gone! It is a shame that IC had a regime change for the worse! When I visit IC, it feels like a culture shock! It is hard to find the stuff I want!
I have not been able to access my archive with the old iranian.com. Many of the things I posted there I had to do some revisions to them in the blogs themselves, which I seldom transferred to my own files in my compute. So, yes, I do have some backup, but they are not the most updated ones, but supposedly we should be to access our accounts soon, hopefully, probably, maybe, who knows!
To the poem list I could have added a whole bunch of other stuff from recent events, but I got too tired last night. Maybe I'll add some more later, something a living document.
Hi MPD, your peom reminds me of a peom by Foroogh Farokhzad. Very interesting.
Hi golzar, if you know, please let me know which peom of Foroogh Farokhzad it is and I'll look it up. Thank you.
