In the Baluchistan region in Iran, for generations, a community has lived and played - and swum - alongside crocodiles. People feed the reptiles are respected and seen as protectors of the water. But the equation can flip in the blink of an eye. All it takes is for one crocodile to attack a child, and they go from honored neighbors to predatory traitors. And with water levels depleted, communities in the region are no longer convinced that crocodiles are doing their job in keeping lakes and rivers intact.
