Anti-government protesters in Iraq have set fire to the Iranian consulate in the Shia holy city of Najaf.

They accuse Tehran of propping up Iraq’s government, which they’ve been railing against for two months.

The protests started because many Iraqis wanted the government to provide better services and jobs and tackle corruption.

But the demonstrations have broadened to include protests against what they say is Iran's undue influence in Iraq.
