The world's 'most powerful woman' according to the Guinness World Records, 43-year-old Iranian Giti Mousavi demonstrated her impressive strength by pulling a truck weighing 12,380 kg (27,293 pounds) for 30 metres, in footage filmed in Tabriz on Friday. Friends and family gathered to see Mousavi breaking her own personal record, as she hauled a 1.2-tonne truck for 30 metres without rest. Earlier in April, Mousavi broke the Guinness World Record by pulling a truck weighing 12,270 kg (27,050 pounds), beating the previous Guinness holder, an Australian woman who set the record back in 2011 by pulling a trailer of 11,350 kg (25,022 pounds). "My goal is to show my God-given talent, at least to myself, to the people around me and to the sports community," Giti said, adding that she wants "to show that women's abilities can be seen around the world and they can show their power."
