I keep hearing from Mullah's martydom is the sweetest thing out there, so what is the issue then?
After Mubarak , Muslim brotherhood pushed for early and immature elections to grab the power and then dismantled the constitution and the judiciary in its bid to fully rule out the competition and to create its own religious dictatorship.
They did not give the seed of the democracy to root in the post revolution Egypt. Then they faced opposition and at the end were put aside by a coup by the army.
Extremism begets extremism. Muslim brotherhood is now falling victim to the extremism atmosphere that itself was the cause of its creation
These people are dying for their religion and the advancement of political islam. I hope sanity and secualrism shall win over zealotry and forced divinity.....
My hat's off to those who oppose the "brotherhood". Egyptians seem to have lot more guts and intellect than those who supported the islamist take over of my motherland in 1979.
Has anyone noticed that the same people who 4 years ago were refusing to condmen the murder of peacefull Iranian pro democracy demonstrators by the islamist regime or the current slaoughter of syrian civilans by assad army, are now jumping up and down with indignation about the killing of MB demonstrators?
Talk about crocodile tears!!
Indeed, talk about crocodile tears and hypocricy!!!
From what I remember, most people here in our community of IC were condemning the killing and beating of peaceful and brave Iranians as well condemning Assad as or Bahrain’s brutal crackdown of protesters.
I also supported the protesters against Mubarak and have condemn the coup and the brutal murder/crack down of MB protesters in Egypt.
I have also been on the record for not being a supporter of MB, yet don’t believe they should be forced out of power thru force of military.
The hypocrisy is upon those who condemn one murder yet cheer for another.
Mehrdad
The biggest hypocrites are the ones who support the IRI's lobbies while claiming that they supposedly oppose the IRI.
Both the MB and the military take their orders from the same people. The opheaval and the MB governing period was used to identify and mark the legitimate opposition to Mubarak (military) and now they are being uprooted and cleansed.
As usual, it's the people on the street paying the price. For us here to be pleased at their demise, just shows the vileness of our souls.
What's viel is the support of the islamist regime by their west-residing gropies who claim they are agaisnt it. And I mean the islamist pukes in Iran.
Dear Ex_CoP, I admit I am a "gropy." But I cannot remember groping you, so why the exitement? Wishfull thinking, perhaps?
Haji....Ya, you're so funny I forgot to laugh.
You people know who you are.....remind me of that self congratulatory dude abarmard....
Gimme a break haji.
Meybokhor joon, as long as the Danish authorities keep a close eye on you for both terrorist activities and welfare fraud (the two favorite hobbies of West-residing Islamists), all is well.
Brothers Meybokhor and bavafa #1.
Please stop being so angry and worried. the whole "opheaval" (Thanks brother scientist Meybokhor for teaching me a new word) in egypt is over. After some akhavaan sheitaan prisoners were killed while trying to kill the police officers protectinmg them during their failed attempted escape, only a few hundred Akhavan sheytaan turned up for a demo. so things are back to normal in egypt. I am already booking a vacation in Egypt for next winter. Hopefully by then that mofsed fel arz Assad has been sent to exile to Moscow, so I'll swing by to Syria for ziaarat (Ensha Allah).
Seyed,
We are not in the training Camp Ashraf that human lives has no value. I value all human lives, including yours.
Mehrdad
Human lives have great value in Camp NIAC, but business deals with the Mullah Regime have even greater value there.
Those who put business deals with ANY BODY ahead of human lives, should be ashamed of themselves.
Mehrdad
If the bulk of the vengeful comments here represents a general reaction of Iranians to the killing of unarmed people on the streets by an army then I hope there will be no change in Iran this soon. It seems that we have learnt nothing from all the violence that our society has endured under the IRI. In face it seems that the IRI has succeeded to make all of us brutal and dictatorial.
If anyone thinks that those who are killing the MB supporters are doing so to create a democracy then I would remind such person that the biggest supporter of the Egyptian army is the Saudi regime. If there was a chance that MB practice a milder Islam, you can be sure that the Saudi intention is to create another Pakistan out of Egypt and spread its Salafi doctrine.
This is really rubbish that you cannot edit the comment after you have submitted it, even in the first minute. :-(
Divaneh jaan, I am with you on that all the way. It is simply sad if the Iranian-Westerns views are as such, can we imagine the view/approach of those who have lived under the regime and constant violence.
Mehrdad
sorry to dissapoint you folks but all these touchy feely stuff about islamists is not going to help you at the end of the day. Bottom like if they get the power they will force you to adopt their way and if you don't like it tough, they just rape, torture or kill you becuase in their mind set they are doing work of god and not much you say or do for them will make any difference.
What's your solution? killing them? Are we to believe that there was no other way to end the demonstrations except killing and maiming people? How can killing and silencing one group bring democracy to a country?
I know you base your assumption that the MB supporters would kill and rape people in future on the basis of what happended in Iran, but was Iran the only case where an ideology used to suppress people? Turkey has an Islamist government too and I don't see them killing and raping people.
Like any other religion, Islam in its mild form is condemned to death in the hand of the science. It can only survive in its reactionary form and that is necessary for the survival of dicatorship in the Middle East. That is why dictatorial regimes such as Saudi and Jordan are supporting the Army's action in Egypt. Saudi money and the opening of more Saudi backed Madressas is not far off.
@Amir1973: I actually work for the Danish government but since you know me so well (!!!) and have all this important information, I'd like you to relay this info to the Danish authorities to act upon it. Then maybe I can sue your coward ass to where it belongs.
It is one thing to hide behind a computer screen and slander and another to act upon it. The first is typical of cyber chickenshits, the latter demands a real man. Which one are you?
brother Mebokhor.
you sound very angry. So angry that people might think Brother seyed Amir has told the truth about you!
Please drink an icy cold jug of Brother Fred's Zereshk Juice to calm yourself down a bit. But dont drink it all. save some for brother Bavafa #1. He needs some too.
I am not angry, just responding to a bunch of BS, these cyber chickenshits throw when short of answers.
And as I said before hiding behind a computer screen and slandering is not telling the truth. For him and people like him throwing BS around is easy. I just challenge him to officially act upon his "facts" unless he is just another coward behind the screen. Nobody needs to know his identity, he can just inform the Danish authorities of things he knows about me annonimously.
Let's see how far he can carry his "case."
Meybokhor Joon, take a very deep breath and drink your ice cold, taxpayer-funded Zereshk Juice. By the way, were you one of those savages who rioted over the Mohammad cartoons?
cyber chickenshit. Now that's a referece you would not expect an educated self rightous man to say unless in the service of his majesty........no?
Call me self-rightous, that is just fine. But if someone hides behind a monitor and without a proof accuses people of criminal acts is inevitably a cyber chickenshit.
One should put his money where his mouth is.
Being in the West, I am sure you've heard of people H A V I N G R I G H T S.....no?
Dude, no one is hiding behind anything. people are excercising their rights to voice their opinion. If you don't like it, don't read it.
If you call the following just an opinion, then I have nothing to discuss with you.
AMIR1973: Meybokhor joon, as long as the Danish authorities keep a close eye on you for both terrorist activities and welfare fraud (the two favorite hobbies of West-residing Islamists), all is well.
Exactly, you reap what you sow....catch my drift?
That is exactly what IRI says to its opponents. Funny aint it?
