I am interested to know what this " central figure for opposition " has done in the past 40+ years and what accomplishment he has made in his opposition to the regime.

I am also interested to know what level of support he enjoys by the Iranian people who live in Iran and are feeling the brunt of the regime's brutality

If anyone has any factual data, I will be very interested to learn about that.
