Ahmad Sohrab, author and Bahá'í who co-founded the New History Society

Mírzá Aḥmad Sohráb (1893–1958) was a Persian-American author and Bahá'í who co-founded the New History Society and the Caravan of East and West in New York, and was excommunicated from the Bahá'í Faith in 1939 by Shoghi Effendi.

Would you happen to know if this New History society is in any way connected to New York Historical society at central park? I was there a few weeks ago and it is indeed a wonderful place to visit.
