Reports on social media indicate that Sepideh Qolian, a civil activist, was arrested again by security forces on Wednesday, March 15, just hours after being released from Evin Prison.

Video footage released on Wednesday showing the moment of Ms. Qolian's release from prison revealed that she was shouting without compulsory hijab: "Khamenei, the tyrant, we will bury you."

Reports suggest that Ms. Qolian was arrested by security forces while returning to Khuzestan and on the road between Qom and Arak.

It is said that citizens who had filmed the scene of Ms. Qolian's arrest were also arrested.

Sepideh Qolian was arrested in November 2018 during the Haft Tappeh workers' protests and was later sentenced to five years in prison.

In September of this year, Ms. Qolian went on a hunger strike in protest of her uncertain situation and lack of attention to her request for a transfer to a prison in her parents' hometown. As a result, she suffered from "intestinal bleeding."
