I met online one commentator who appears to be Jew from her name. I thought you might like to know about her view of Juddism and your problem with israel. I was talking to her about abstract notion of justice. I was comparing 3 Abrahamic religions with each other by saying only Christianity promotes love. NOT Islam or Juddism. Here is her comment on yahoo news.
My hats off and thumbs up to Hannah and all those (religious or otherwise) who stand for justice for ALL.
Yes, this Jewish lady is very open minded person. Here is her previous comment and below is my response to her comment about "Justice".
Judaism is based on a set of rules that form halaklha or Jewish law. That's basically it. If Christianity is personification of "love," Judaism is the personification of either "law" or "justice."
My response to Hannah:
Justice is very abstract notion. Something can be justice for group of people versus the same thing is NOT justice for other group of people. Very abstract. It depends on which side the person is standing, his/her view of justice changes. What appears to Palestinians as a "Justice" is different from what appears to Israelis as "justice". On strike contrast, There is no ambiguity about love or compassion for others. As Mark Twin said: "Love is a language that deaf can hear and blind can read". Judaism is based on a set of rules that form halaklha or Jewish law. That's basically it. If Christianity is personification of "love," Judaism is the personification of either "law" or "justice."
