اولین سخنرانی سال ۲۰۲۱ مرکز فرهنگی کاسپین (کتابخانه مطالعات ایرانی در لندن) روز شنبه سی ام ژانويه با توجه به محدودیتهای مربوط به ویروس کرونا بصورت مجازی برگزار می‌شود. سخنران این جلسه آقای داریوش آشوری نویسنده و پژوهشگر سرشناس تحت عنوان"زبان ِباز" به بررسی پویائی و تغییر پذیری زبان و رابطه آن با مدرنیته ونیازهای علمی و اجتماعی‌ روز می پردازد.

Dariush Ashouri, the accomplished academic, essayist and linguist is the guest speaker at Caspian Cultural Centre’s first 2021 lecture (Library for Iranian Studies series).  In compliance with Covid-19 restrictions the lecture will take place online at 6:00 PM (GMT) on Saturday 30th January 2021.

Ashouri’s talk in Farsi on the topic of "زبان ِباز" (Open Language) will expand on his book with the same name published in 2008, a study of language and modernity.  His focus in on the immediate and vast requirement of science and technology for new terminology in contrast with linguistic conservatism in traditional societies.
