Muslims. DOing what muslims do best.

I don't think it's just Muslims. Cruelty to animals--unfortunately--is universal. Look at what the Japanese do in Taiji, or what happened in El-Salvador with the Hippo, or in the U.S. with mass, industrial livestock "farming," or what the U.S. military does in experiments with pigs...it's endless. 

I don't deny the universality of Cruelty to animals. It is a crime and i agree, but given what i see in iran and this particular example, I blame muslims. The fact is that, if you run campaigns and educate people in different countries , you probably see changes, but with muslims, it won't even make a dent.

As far as, industrial livestock farming, that happens all over the world and i know there are alternatives to it, but i really wouldn't put that under cruelty column. We got a population to feed and not everyone is going to accept to become a vegan.

Granted  It is morally cruel and outrageous, although when you think about it,

can we abandon all the "cruel" medical experiments we conduct on animals? If we stop all that, how will we know and can measure the efficacy and the therapeutic effects of various medicines...should we run our trials using only human beings...would it even make sense...?
