The body of Taherah Ghassemi, a Baton Rouge woman who went missing last month, has been found, and her ex-husband and three other men have been arrested in connection with her murder, according to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office.

The ex-husband, 64-year-old Hamid Ghassemi, paid the three men $10,000 to kill his ex-wife, who had recently received a million-dollar divorce settlement, according to the sheriff's office.

Taherah Ghassemi, 54, was last heard from April 11, and her car was found torched the next day in North Baton Rouge. Her body was found Saturday buried in a wooded area in St. Helena Parish north of Pine Grove, the sheriff's office said.

Hamid Ghassemi was arrested on suspicion of principal to first degree murder, principal to second degree kidnapping, solicitation for murder and principal to arson.

The three men Hamid Ghassemi is accused of paying to kill his ex-wife -- 20-year-old Tyler Lee Ashpaugh, 17-year-old Skyler Williams, both of Denham Springs, and 33-year-old Daniel Humberto Richter of Walker -- were arrested on suspicion of first degree murder, second degree kidnapping and arson.

Sheriff's office detectives searched Hamid Ghassemi's cell phone records and found that he got a phone call at 12:45 a.m. the night Taherah Ghassemi went missing. The call was from Ashpaugh, whose cell records placed him at Taherah Ghassemi's residence the night she disappeared, the place where her car was found burned, and at the site where she was buried, the sheriff's office said.
