Dear Divaneh. Thanks for posting this cartoon and the photo next to it. IR's (and its followers, especially the West residing ones) blatent anti-semitism has really damaged our reputation as a nation around the world. And let's face it, after three and a half decades of non-stop anti-semitic propaganda by IR's well funded and massive propaganda machine, even the most liberal minded Iranian inside Iran has got to have believed some of what is being thrown at him/her by the IR. What really grabbed my attention was an online comment by a user that I read a couple of years ago on a Slate article about the Middle East. Some guy was just spewing out Jewish conspiracy theories--like the ones you read about on Iranian.com. Another user commented by pointing out the anti-semitic tone of that comment and then he said something that was really striking. The guy said (and of course I'm para-phrasing because I don't remember the exact comment) that the only places he hears or reads such anti-semitic stuff was from really old Eastern European folks or Iranians in general--mind you, the guy didn't even mentioned Arabs who have the biggest problem with Israel, but Iranians. I was really ashamed of belonging to that culture.
