If you are promoting hamzaboon, trtmrt.com (as we say in Croatian), fine.
But count me out, pls. Not interested.
Would also appreciate not having my email address being given out to whoever (particularly, given that my email address is my real name and last name).
Have followed iroon so far because some people whose writings I appreciated on iranian.com migrated to iroon. But they are less and less present here. The rest simply doesn't interest me.
I know we all have to make a living. But, enough is enough.
Thank you and so long.
So long, farewell.
WHY??????????????
There is a Google app that perhaps JJ can use in Iroon and put it somewhere in this website for multiple languages.
See link below to a website as an example, bottom right hand side where you can select from a variety of languages:
http://www.skiwhitetail.com/
Then the Google translate website where you can learn more about how to see a webpage in different languages:
https://support.google.com/translate/#
Currently iroon allows 2 languages and you have to select one of the two to enter, perhaps that can be revised to allow the Farsi section to be google translated. You could do it in the old i.com when there was just one website, you could read the Farsi articles in English, albeit not a very good translation but you could get there.
For example iranian dot com's google's translated language gives you the link below, there is a Farsi article that is translated in English:
https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=fa&tl=en&u=http%3Airanian.com
Rea the reason you see people migrating to the Farsi section more is because the discussion in the English section has become old and repeats of what people hear in the media. Basically people who can't even speak the language consider themselves experts, not even old enough and emotional all the time. This is standard among Iranians as everyone claims to be PhD in political science, same in the Farsi section but at least more mature on the other side.
Anyway, you can still participate and comment in the Farsi section, many people including myself comment in English on occasions. The reason we/I use Farsi more is other than being our first language, there is more humor in it!
Oh and you can translate the individual Farsi articles or comments in English, below is an article by Mr. Bagherzadeh:
https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=fa&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Firoon.com%2Firtn%2Fblog%2F4375%2F
And a survey about Namjoo's song about Reza Shah and you can read the comments in English. Although the translation is very funny! As if the old Hajiagha is writing the comments all over again! Ghost of Hajiagha! hahaha! LOL!

Dear Rea. Don't leave please. You're a valuable member of the site and your insight and contributions as a non-Iranian are invaluable. This site, I guess by virtue of its name, gets more traffic on the Persian language side. I suggested to JJ a while back-when he was planning the changes--to combine the two "sides" of the site to get more traffic to the English side as well, kind of like what he did with his old site. But he obviously did not do so. In any event, please don't leave. :-)
Canyou at least say what has happened?
Dear Rea,
I can't blame you, the site doesn't offer much quality material and to have your email used for marketing purposes is just a double whammy (what is Hamzaboon by the way? is it a match making site?) Things are not much better on the Persian side at the present but it seems to be picking up. I am sure the English side will pick up too, it just need people like you to contribute some quality material again.
If you don't stay then please come back when it has picked up but make sure to use a purpose built email like the rest of us. I have an email which is just for these kind of accounts and they can send whatever they want to it. Just last week I had an email from JJ who wanted to transfer $40M to the UK and was happy to give me half of it if I gave him my bank account details. I declined of course.
And don't forget, wherever you go you dont find kinder people. Just look at Mr Kamal for example, he is not JJ and surely not the et al, but still cares to run in the middle with his bare feet (as we say in Persian) just to say buy. Where else do you get that?
When did I say half? I'll give you 5% tops. mikhaay bekhaah mikhaay nakhaah.
