Sometimes when you're so involved in something that you don't realize the end result until you put it up and see people's reaction. I have noticed few issues so I'm going to post them and you can add more if you see anything.
First the good things. Comment control is good, good, good! The enhanced font and stuff is good as I'm coloring stuff as you can see! The like and dislike are good though hopefully they can become anonymous. Now back to issues and please read them with a grain of salt, though they are serious!
1. The National Pulse meter is sucks! It is a bridge to nowhere! I know what my mood is, what good does it do for me if I click it for myself?! I'd like to know what is the community's total mood, not myself's!
2. Once I click on an item and read it and click on home to go back again, everything freezes and it is sucks! It takes a while to get back to home page.
3. Related to 2 above. I remember reading somewhere that only certain browsers work and you have to have the latest MS Explorer to see everything here? This is sucks! I think JJJ should tell his staff who are developing this site to make it easy to access with almost all browsers as people come here from all over the world. Many use MS Explorer at work and you want to include as many as possible, not less because your Developers are too sissy and technological advanced that it is beneath them to use anything less than an Apple or Chrome or something!
4. The logo for Iroon while nice, it is sucks! Because many can't read Farsi much less a logo in Farsi. So please add some English logo as well so people know where they are.
5. There is no Recent Comments section and JJJ has promised it'll be added soon. Hopefully this is not like his promise about adding comment control in i.com that never happened!
6. In the video section on the front page, because I am behind a fire wall the area for the video shows my firewall warning. This is sucks! Perhaps you can show a GIF or JPG image of the video so at least I can tell what it is and if interested I can see it later when I'm not behind a firewall.
7. The survey area and results are all over the page. This is of course sucks! This is related to 3 above that you must use a certain browser to see everything in order. From where I sit, behind a super computer run by MS Explorer, it is like a Jumbalaya dish!
8. The following option seems again like the National Pulse meter which is another bridge to nowhere. It doesn't do what Twitter does and unless I am missing something, it's not suited for here.
9. The number of blogs can be increased as more people belog, they'll disappear when more blogs go up.
10. The survey stuff are taking too much space.
11. Last but certainly not the least, JJJ's new avatar with his bald head is sucks! I thought he had good hair, what happened?! Even if he likes the bald look himself, it is not looking professional for this new website. I'd ask that he put a hairpiece or a hat or something and put on a suit and tie and look good! Right now it looks like a pothead hobo sheperd backpacking and running a business from Peru, which of course is sucks!
I think that's good for now. We can add more later as it becomes more visible.
I agree with points 7 and 10. I disagree with "it is sucks" but only grammatically. :)
You don't agree with #1? You can get something out of clicking a button with no results?! Do you see the pulse of the community like you see the results of the surveys?
By the way, if I were the older lady in the picture, I would try to thinks outside the box -- or in this case maybe inside.
OK, I wouldn't call it a national pulse before the number of members here is above a few hundred.
Hate this enter and comment posted stuff! BTW make that #12 thing that "is sucks"! The is sucks lingo is Hajiagha's legacy! He was the one who was instrumental in bringing attention and controversy to i.com when it opened up, both in the old format and later in the newer format. He always said "it is sucks"! So that's an inside joke and some may not get it!
You're not gettting my point or question. I'm not talking about the "number of members". I don't care if 5 people use that National Pulse number. What I want to know is if 5 people vote their mood, what is the average mood of those 5 people. I don't want to see just MY mood. I already know it! Get it?
:) Depends. The average mood of 5 Iranians in the same room after 5 minutes would be something around 3. In separate places, they would be sailing their own seas.
BTW, IT IS the average of those who answer for that they, that's why the number of members is important.
Maybe you're seeing something that I don't. Right now all that bar does is allow me to register my mood, period. No other information is provided after I register my mood. So it's a bridge to nowhere!

I use Google Chrome and have somewhat good site appearance. I have problems with some links hiding behind others such as profile, public page, and admin that are partially covered by the Survey section and thus not clickable.
My take on this site is that, it is work in progress and I know it is sucks :) not to be fully functional as we like it to be but I am hoping that the content will outway the functionality, some thing that was lost in the other IC.
I use MS Explore 8.0 which I believe is one of the most widely used. MS products are most widely used, especially at work and other countries. Site appearance for me is sucks! Actually I should go one step further, it is SUCKS TO CANADA!
Bavafa what browser do you use? we don't want to put lilly be lalaye shortcomings! Before you know it they won't care about other things as well! Right now they're so proud of themselves for having developed this website for manly browsers! That is such a manly man thing to do, ey?!
MS Internet explorer is one major sucks.

Iroon logo is not nice, I suggest JJ launch a contest to find somebody create a nice one.
Orang jaan perhaps a logo where on one side it is in Farsi and the other English. Like if it was a writing on a t-shirt in Farsi that said Iroon and standing in front of the mirror you'd see Iroon! It can be done, I'll post a photo for Love and Hate in the "Photo" section and you can see what I mean.
Esfand jaan, I see what you are meaning. It is a good idea, now you need a graphic artist to create a good graphic. we should also imagine a mascot, as Gold fish was for IC, I propose a cat "pishi" which could be in the logo as well Another thing I don't like is that Farsi and English site are seperate. If you publish in Farsi , you don't see you blog in Engish and vice versa. This will make a site censored for Iran and another one non censored for people speaking English out side. I beleive it is against of the main goal of the site. Ghorbanat

bavafa the histogram link is sucks! Here look at abcnews.com's front page towards middle right hand side. See they have a poll question too. They have it every day and though it is still not square, you can at least vote and see the results. http://abcnews.go.com/ I still can't see the result of national pulse here, though it appears that now a white font on light shading displaying numbers but no more clear as to which number represents what!
