We have a fair chance of making it to the knockout stage. I think! I hope :)

This is alomost as good as we could've hoped for.

Also, the sequence of the games works to our advantage. If by the time we play Bosnia, they have already lost 2 games, we should have an easier time against them. We just need a big day against Nigeria to get us going.

Thank you for the update! I will be watching the World Cup! I am waiting for the New World Cup Song to be released! Not sure if they will make a new song like last time. The last World Cup song is super successful! Over 500,000,000 hits already!

One thing for sure, there will not be vuvuzelas in Brasil!

One thing we have to realize is that the balance of power has shifted dramatically in the past few years, and gradually some african teams have replaced former south american power houses, regardless of what the rankings suggest.

I think they should take Nigeria far more seriously than Argentina. or at least give them the same weight and just hope that holding a prayer meeting with the bosnians and talk about the glory of islam:) will do the job .

Actually there was a program on TV the other night, trying to disect the logistics of this. They wondered about that same issue:))

They actually came up with something very creative, they decided to do a little editting there and cover the background with the small photos of some formally-turbanned gentlemen, so that people could only focuse on the ball and the pitch, or as they pronounce it out here "fookoos". 

Now they are going to test their strategy during the superbowl this year and see how that turns out!!! 

Either that or they will just send a team of preachers to Brazil, to convince the organizing commiittee to make it mandatory for the babes to hejab up, take a dip in the pool (full of kids of all ages, boys and girls)  on the way back and come home bringing the good news.

Aaaand...if all that fails, they will just go "good f...ing Fellas" on everyone:) u know...playing it safe.
