این داستان باهوشی ما ایرانیها که نسخه تاریخ مصرف تمام شده رو سد بار تکرار میکنیم منو یاد شکارچی مشهدی میندازه....

شکارچی مشهدی میره جنگل شکار خرس و تیرش نمیگیره و خرسه از پشت میزنه به شونه اش و بر میگرده میبینه خرسست ...با گره و ناله و توبه درخواست بخشش میکنه.. خرسه میگه باشه نمیخورمت و یه بشن یه بلو جاب بده..مشدی هم با اکراه و ناله و ضجه بو جابه رو میده..

یه هفته مشهدی یه خودش خودشو میخوره که چرا به خرسه بو جاب دادم...میره یه تفنگ نو میخره دوباره میره جنگل و خرسه رو که میبینه میزنه تو خال و با لبخند قهرماانه میره لاشه رو بپیچه و ببره شهر...ولی جای خرس خالی!!!  دوباره: ناک روی شونه ..برمیگرده و حضرت خرسه... خرسه میگه جاکش مگه توبه نکردی دیگه پیدات نشه....شکارچی دوباره میفته به گریه و توبه و زاری که خرسه نخورش..و خرس هم میگه یو نو  ده دریل و این دفه هم بلو جاب میدی و هم قمبل میکنی و یه دست میدی...شکارچی مشهدی بدبخت هم با اکراه و درد و زجر و گریه هم بو جاب میده و هم از در پایین...و گریان و حیران بر میگرده مشهد....

چند هفته میگذره و مشهدی شاکی شاکی که چه ک..و..ن..ی و ابرویی ازش رفته و شب و روز در اندیشه انتقام..میره و بهترین تفنگ شکاری و دوربین تیزبین میخره و بسوی جنگل و ایندفه در شب خرسه رو مبینه و در جا شلیک میکنه و صدای زجه خرس رو میشنوه...خوشحال و بدو بدو میره جای شکار و دوباره جا خالی.... دوباره یکی تلنگر میزنه از پت به شونه اش ...بر میگرده و لامذهب دوباره خرسست ...مشهدی دیگه تحمل نمیتونه بکنه میفته به گریه و زجه جنون امیز ... خرسه میگه :٫ عمو یو نو ده دریل و بلو جاب و بعدهش قمبل ولی یه پرسشی دارم٫  بادی تو واقعان واسه شکار میای اینجا یا یه چیزه دیگه؟

Intelligent? Iranians? We just have to look at our country and its status in the world to get an answer to that. Where is the proof for this stupid Iranian bigotry? What have we invented except names for Western inventions? What intelligence have we shown in laying the foundations of a just society?

Iranian may want to fool themselves thinking they are brighter than others, but as Rumi said.

I always tell the youth, you have two choices : to learn the easy way or to learn the hard way. The easy way is to learn from the experience, studies and the mistakes of the others and the hard way is making the same mistakes that others have made already or by trying to reinvent the wheel. In fact we Iranians think that we are so intelligent the we keep trying to come up with our own version of things, instead of just doing what already has worked for others. The current state of the regime that rules us and the various views of its opposition is the proof of it.

Exhibit No.1 diplaying out [lack of] intelligence: being ruled by the ONLY theocracy on the planet. And of course, the inevitable exhibit no. 2: being proud of it! 

I really think that pre-Islam we were curious.  Our history of exploration--even though it came in form of invasions--displays our desire to look beyond our Islamic "mostarah."  But then we were infected with the incurable virus that is Islam-- a religion that demands TOTAL devotion and abdication of all scientific curiosity in favor of "fate," i.e., you shouldn't really explore, dicover or try to explain the world around you.  You skould spend your entire life praying to an angry, vengeful desert god hoping that when you die you end up in a paradise with 72 virgins.

On Iranian.com, (k/n/a NIAC.com part II) I wrote a bolg asking why we don't have any explorers in our 1400  year post Islam history.  I got a lot of profanity and anger directed toward me (I call it "retard strength anger," no offense to the menatlly disabled) but no answres.  Think about it.  We have NO explorer.  No one who was curious enough to discover anyt new place in the world.  We have some travelers, Like Naser Khowsorw, but no explorers.  No curiosity whatsoever!  And incidentally, where did Naser Khosrow travel to? Well, he was from Balkh.  China and Russia were right next door. Instead, he traveled 5 (or was it 7) times to Mecca.  That's what his "travel diaries" are about: his frequent vacationing in Mecca!  Of course, Russia and China would have been too uncomfortable for him.  There wouldn't have been mosques to tell him when to pray, no Islamic toilets, no halal meat...no boshkeh (as our dear friend Inspector reminds us of)...

However, IMHO, it is not a question of being or not being intelligent. Our problem is that:

We are not as intelligent as we think we are.

We are not as strong as we think we are.

We are not as appealing as we think we are.

Different people have different levels of intelligence, strenght and appeal ... however, we can all manage ourselves much better, and fit into our environment much better ... if we can know ourselves more objectively. Rather than seeing ourselves for what we are and avoiding getting into all sorts of troubles due to megalomania, most Iranians believe that:

We are the most intelligent people.

We are the strongest nation.

We are the most appealing culture.

Iranians in US and Europe are considered to be some the most successful, and biggest money earners and some of the most educated.   Iranians have one of the biggest number of millionaire and quite a few Billionaire in the US, Canada and Europe.   What Iranians have done had taken other minorities several generations…we have done it as immigrants...an unprecedented accomplishment and achievement!

It is NOW and has always been dictatorship and despotism that have halted and killed all those inner feelings or phenomenons called inspirations, incentives, innovations, drives and curiosities.   It was first under the incapable and brutal Shahs and now the darkness that are Mullahs!

So let’s be more positive and less judgmental of who we are and what we are capable of doing.   And see what we have done here…in a strange and unfamiliar land/culture.

It is the myth of "Iranians are an intelligent nation" that should be rejected, otherwise as Shazde said all nations have people with different levels of intelligence. We are not even a homogeneous nation to assume that there is a genetic dimension to such claims.

I agree that many Iranians are good in making money but that is only one type of intelligence. Even that, is not due to intelligence alone. Many of us work hard to reach our goals, and in that process are happy to make sacrifices that some other nations may not be willing to do. I think that is decided by our culture and what we hold of value. In Iranian culture material and education have a special place; hence we see successful business people and many involved in higher education and professional jobs.

It is not about being negative or judgemental; it’s about being realistic and avoid undeserved self praise.

I am a fan, but we should also realize that Shah, Mullah and other animals in between (communist, mojahed, etc) have been Iranian creations too!

Our inability to conduct ourselves in a civilized and cooperative manner, is manifest. History's verdict on Iran will not be about one group or the other; it will be about our society, culture and lack of capabilites in general.

My point is and has always been that our worst enemies are our own ignorance + our huge ego.

Ignorance by itself can be cured, but is absolutely mortal when mixed with ego. A megalomanic nation (be it during Shah, Mosaddegh or Khomeini) so ignorant about its own limitations and weaknesses, has created the horrible situation that we are in.

It's a collaps of a culture since the arrival of bedouin cult of islam. From that point on the curiocity was gone, nor was it encouraged, no hard work or dedication, not looking beyond your own sphere and thus that is where we are now. Up untill arrival of the great Reza shah and his son the biggest desire of majority of people were to visit Karbela and Mecca! Untill this trend start reversing and ressurection of real Iran is started we will always be in this situation. 

34 years of theocracy should tell you how smart we are.

I believe that “the” subject at hand, is far more complicated than we think.   How could a nationality that by all measures is so successful and has accomplished so much outside/abroad would do so poorly inside/domestically?

It is baffling when we see half of NASA/JPL and other great High Tech firms involved in some of the most advanced/complicated research and development are dominated by Iranians?    And I did not even mentioned or considered the professorship in some of the most prestigious American universities that are dominated by Iranian brains and the knowhow.   Institutions that are considered to be the crème of the crop by any and all standards and measures…  All those observations should tell us that there are major disconnects/obstacles that HALT or stopping us from doing those eye catching advancements at home.   Obviously degenerates like M R Pahlavi, Khomeini and their ilk not only did not helped but hindered our societal/cultural problems that we experience….

This topic would make a great subject for a PhD dissertation in socio-anthropology and the psyche of a nation!   Those of us with more knowledge and intuitiveness that can tackle this highly complex dichotomy that laymen can’t fathom or understand.

And when we speak of morality and moral turpitude and interactions, Iranians are well known for being moral, obedient of the law, and committing the least legal infractions than other nationalities in the US and probably in Europe.

So what the HELL is going on HERE is a GREAT mystery or secret!

Writing in Bold and capital letetrs is the same as screaming with anger and tearing oneself apart, which could lead to heart attack. Screaming with anger   would  not save Islamist regime. But being flexible, bending down and taking it all the way to the tilt, with a big smile,  from Benyamin and Hossein might :)

When someone here says Iranians are not intelligent, he is indirectly hinting that he himself lies outside that group and is now illuminated.

Iranians at NASA, JPL and elsewhere are NOT in Iran; they left as in brain drain as in caused by the abortion that is the islamist regime, as in 34 years of assbackwardness as in enough should be enough, but appranetly it isn't!

Never the less those brains are ALL Iranians, genetically and otherwise…whether or not they live in Iran!   One’s genes does not mutate or change when they immigrate or live abroad!   They are still considered genome Iranian!   Also, Iran today, has one of the largest number of nuclear scientists in the world.   Sharif and Teheran universities are considered premier institutions of higher education for engineers and scientists EVEN by American standards and American experts.

One should not lose sight, that there are marked differences between the backward thinking Mullahs/Akhoonds, living in dark ages and the average honorable, tenacious highly motivated, intelligent Iranian populous, struggling to succeed and to accomplish those impossible goals; they are living under the MOST hostile Akhoond driven environment….circumstances NOT easy to overcome or reach those educational heights we witness.

A lot of IQ tests (most actually) rely heavily on the person's education and are really culturally based.  That's why I think that this is mostly a cultural issue than a genetic one.  Given the right education and the right cultural paradigm, IQ tests can have similar results across the world.  Islam destroyed our sense of curiosity and that of other similarly situated people, (i.e., the rest of the Middle East).  It gave us a bleak, morbid and fatalist outlook on life that has paralyzed us for the past 1400 years.

We have lots of Iranian Doctors. Doctor Rouhani. Doctor Ahmadinejad. Doctor Trita parsi. In fact all the executive members of the iranian.com, including that clown,  claim to be  a doctor in something! Now why all these doctors spend their time 24/7 on internet going LOL instead of fixing Rockets for NASA, or finding a treatment for Ali khamenei's drug addiction  is a mystery to me! The problem might be  that all these doctors seem to have  their coctorate in subjects that does not qualify them to work for me on my donar kebab outlet,  let alone for NASA! So when the sisters of these doctors end up in some sort of a trouble needing medical attention, they have to fly them on Emirat airlines, via dubai , to a hospital in London to be taken good care of by an indian or pakistani , "Real Doctor"!! 

Yeah....sure...I ask again, how smart are we to put up with a dooms day regime such as the islamist anti-public of Iran, not for 10, 15 but 34 friggin' years?
