The other night, Rudy Giuliani and a few other Trump lawyers got in front of the cameras and concocted a bizarre conspiracy theory that “proved” that the vote counting systems in several counties in several states were hacked and the votes were changed in favor of Biden.
Giuliani’s tale somehow tied the billionaire philanthropist George Soros to the voting fraud in Venezuela during Hugo Chavez’ presidential election to Dominion, a Canadian company based in Toronto that provided voting systems to some of the voting precincts in the US. Somewhere in there, Rudy added Joe Pesci and the movie “My Cousin Vinnie” to the mix! Here’s the story.
George Soros’s Open Society Foundation which promotes democracy around the world has a Board of Directors and Lord Mark Malloch-Brown, an English diplomat, member of the parliament and businessman sits on that Board. The Lord is also a partner in a holding company, SGO since 2014. His partner in that endeavor is a Venezuelan-American from Miami, Antonio Mugica who cofounded SmartMatic with another Venezuelan-American, a company that makes voting systems and sells them in Latin America, including Venezuela.
In 2006, Hugo Chaves won a popular election in Venezuela and became the president for the 2nd term. SmartMatic provided the voting system for that election.
So far, a “relationship” between George Soros and the voting machines in Venezuela is established. Now what is needed is a link between SmartMatic and Dominion, the two competing voting systems companies and a voting fraud scheme.
In 2005 SmartMatic acquired an old and established US voting systems company, Sequoia which was going through all kinds of financial and legal problems. In 2014, Sequoia was on the verge of bankruptcy and was bought by Dominion. So, here’s the missing link. Now let’s find the fraud.
QAnon, a hardline conspiracy theory operation which is considered a domestic terrorist organization by the FBI came up with a piece that supposedly “proved” that the voting machines in Venezuela in 2006 are similar to the ones that Dominion is using so the software hacking scheme is already known and is in place to change the votes. And a Venezuelan military man who was there with Hugo Chaves personally saw how the software was changing the votes for Chaves. The unknown military man whom Rudy cannot disclose his name fearing the danger to his life has provided screenshots of the said machines in Venezuela, with no proof or anything that will hold up in the court of law.
Trump’s other lawyer Sidney Powell stated that they even went to Dominion’s US offices in Denver and found that it was closed, implying that they had jumped ship to Toronto. Somebody should remind them that we are in a semi-lockdown state and almost all companies have their employees work remotely.
And that’s how Trump and Rudy are trying to link Goodarz to Shaghayegh!
US "democracy" is a farse!
Where else can a president be elected with less popular vote than the competition (like Trump 2016 and Bush 2000)?
US is still a racially segregated nation, thanks to the Republican party's gerrymandering of the Congressional districts.
US senate is a joke, where the half million residents of Wyoming have as much representation as the 40 million people of California.
Trump and Rudy are just showing how antiquated and undemocratic the whole US "election" system has always been, and how close it is to collapse!
More and more, America has become 2 nations; Blue America and Red America.
Blue America is where universities are, where jobs are, where people are multi-cultured, Silicon Valley, SF, LA, Hollywood, NY, Wall Street, Broadway and large cities like Dallas, San Antonio and Chicago. Red America is rural, farmlands where people plant corn and potatoes and raise cows and pigs and carry guns.
The good news is that you can choose which America you want to live in. The bad news is that the other side has a disproportionate say in how we will be governed.
