I’m Sadra Baniasadi a.k.a “Bani” (1991, Tehran, Iran) an Iranian painter with a strong background in satire, cartoon and comics. I love to make characters. I play with them and stories form. I’ve been doing this since I was a kid. That time I used to make super-heroic street fighters, put them in gangs and let them crash together. Now I make gods and goddesses to create and rule over worlds. I’ve described what I have already done, in several story books which are in fact my memory cards. I think this representation of the world I’m creating, is based on Iranian cosmology but I’ve made deities and stories mostly with a lot of influence from Iranian, Mesopotamian, Indian and Egyptian mythologies.
