HuubvanderMark Vlogs: I understand the interrogation as Iran is pretty big in the news often. And I do walk with professional gear in the city. This was my first experience like this and perhaps I should've been even more understanding about the situation in the video itself. We love Iran and maybe this had to happen to us because I make videos, to show the government that tourists are really wanting to come to Iran to see the beauty of the country and not to spy on anything haha. I am a long term traveler and I can use these experiences for making a video about it. But if Iran would've been a 1 week vacation, and I would've ended up in a interrogation room, it would've been more shocking. Currently I have disabled comments on most Iran videos as some people became too rude on this video. I don't understand the prejudices about Iran. Iran is a beautiful country (honestly, it became more and more pretty after a few weeks travel, but you'll see that in the videos) and the people are incredibly friendly. I hope that my videos help to change the image of Iran for people who are interested in knowing the real Iran instead of what the media sometimes tries to feed us. Don't let this scare you away from traveling Iran. It will be one of the best experiences you will get! In this current economy, just know that if you decide to fly a drone or walk around with semi-professional camera gear, something like this is a possibility to happen... Hopefully in the nearby future not anymore.
