In exactly five years from today, Qatar will kick off the first World Cup hosted in the Middle East. But as it plans for the largest sporting event ever held in the region, the country is caught up in a major falling out with its neighbours.

Qatar hopes a political and trade blockade imposed by Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE and Egypt will be lifted soon, and those countries will allow their fans to travel to Qatar in 2022.
