!انتخاب بین بد و بد تر
So Dear Faramarz, it turns out Dump was not a mere flash in a pan.
Well Fozoli, I still stick to my motto about Trump, “Hot in Christmas, but Gone by NoRooz!” And I think the results of the “Super Tuesday” on March 1st will most likely tell us what’s in the store for the GOP.
I’ve been tracking the polls since late September and here is what I have learned.
There are 3 factions in the GOP. First, the Outsiders (Khavaarej); Trump and Carson. This faction has consistently been getting around 40% of the polls; as one went up, the other came down, and right now it looks like that Carson will drop out after S. Carolina next weekend and Trump will consolidate the 40%.
The second group is the Right Wing Crazy Cubans (dos Loco Cubanos), Cruz and Rubio. They have been getting around 1/3 of the polls and at times one is hot and the other is not. And they tend to put their feet in their mouths like Sara Palin, if given the chance. It’s not clear which one of the two will drop out.
The third group is the Establishment (Rockefeller) faction that are represented by the more moderate and pragmatic wing of the party, Bush and Kasich and they’ve been getting around 20% of the polls. In the past 2 cycles, the Establishment started slow but ultimately won with McCain and Romney.
I see 2 scenarios at this point; either a consolidation around the Establishment and the Cubans either by votes or one candidate becomes the VP for the other, or a contested convention in July where Trump will fight the party.
Wasn't McCain the leftover after Guliani screwed up?
