According to allegations in the indictment, the scheme included using a Dutch company owned by Alptekin to appear to be the “client” of Company A and to pay the company’s fee of $600,000, which was to be paid in three installments. Alptekin made the payments from an account in Turkey. The indictment alleges that after Alptekin made the payments to Company A, it was to kick back 20 percent of the payments to Alptekin’s company in the Netherlands, and two such kickbacks were made.
Rafiekian is charged with conspiracy and acting in the United States as an illegal agent of the government of Turkey. If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 5 years in prison for the conspiracy charge, and 10 years in prison for the charge of acting as an agent of a foreign government.

Faramarz jaan,
What happened to the “indictment” regarding Russia collusion? As Giuliani says Mueller and his team are desperately looking for a parking violation or j-walking ticket.
Dear GR,
You probably don’t know this, but when a Special Counsel is assigned to independently investigate a case, in this situation Trump’s Russian Collusion, if he comes across other crimes that are not related to the original case, he refers them back to the Justice Department and they forward them to other agencies to investigate.
In this particular instance, the case of Mr. Bijan RafieKian was turned over to the Eastern District of Virginia to pursue. In the same manner, Trump’s tax cheating and other financial crimes were forwarded to the Manhattan’s Southern District.
The beauty of these referrals is that since they will be prosecuted in the State Courts, Trump cannot pardon the guilty parties. By the US law, the President can only pardon people who are guilty of federal crimes, not state crimes.
So Trump and his family are looking at spending time at the state penitentiary in New York, unless they cough up some serious money to settle these matters. As for Mr. Bijan RafieKian and his wife Gissou, he is looking at 5-15 years away from his Southern California home in San Juan Capistrano.
p.s. San Juan Capistrano is world famous for swallows returning every spring.
Here’s Pat Boone singing When Swallows Come Back to Capistrano:

I bet Giuliani knows what he is talking about. At the time when Obama became president I read an article in which the author claimed “they” had something on everyone including Obama.
That being said, Mueller has deviated from his main task of finding collusion between Trump team and Russia and gone to the business of muckraking. Let’s give a rest.
As expected you are totally ambivalent to what's happening in this country, as you should be, living in Japan. Keep watching Fox News and live in your own world. Adios
Nope! I’m certain of what I want. But is the world ready for it?
Here’s one: Every criminal should be behind bars. And let’s start with your favorite politician. LOL
Hey, I’m of the gentler breed. Noam Chomsky wants every post WWII US president to be tried for war crimes. How about that?
I am not sure why this stuff is news worthy any more. The extent of corruption, birbery and money lanudering in U.S is now all time high and to the roof.
As for Mueller he is on fishing expedition with unlimited fund, so if he catches a fish fine if not he will go on and on until and when either funding runs out and a democrat is in the white house!
