I know in my neck of the woods the population of the dogs is on the rise while the population of the kids is declining. Dogs and kids like me, so they either run/walk towards me or freeze as soon as they see me and don’t follow orders. 

I’m for getting rid of 80% of the current human population for the simple reason that only about 20% seems to be living comfortably. That’s also one way to save animals.

I do like to know how they got the 60% number though. 

You don’t need to know how they got the 60% figure. Just accept it until someone else comes up with another figure. 

GR jooon, well, that's the problem with short-sightedness - Nature (which includes animals and wilderness) is necessary for a healthy echo system. If we wipe out that part of the system, then we, humans will suffer the consequences.
