When a Palestinian terrorist went on a stabbing rampage, Azaria, an IDF soldier shot and wounded him. As he lay incapacitated on the ground, Azaria shot him dead.
The court ruled Azaria's action unnecessary and a desire for vengeance and gave him 18 months. The court rejected Natanyahu's call to pardon him. The case divided Israel, but the judiciary stayed firm in its decision...No nepotism!
Comparing this with any case in Iran's judiciary system makes those Iranians who shed crocodile tears for Palestine look like bozos.
