Not only do they not care, they'd probably like to see more.  It's a tacit, tongue-in-cheek approval.

Keeping politics out of sports would be the best policy. Some Americans have been criticized for disrespecting the American flag and anthem during domestic or international sporting events. Do we really need such ceremonies?

It would be nice if Iranians looked inward and compared such acts with the behavior of Iranian athletes vis-a-vis Israeli athletes.

I know if I were at the stadium in Australia, I would have honored that minute of silence. But that does not give me the right to tell others what to do.

After 15 Saudi citizens ran the planes into the buildings on 9/11, Al-Waleed Bin Talal bin Abdulaziz al Saud, the 2^nd largest shareholder in Fox Corp, the parent company of your favorite news outlet, made a $10 million gift to the then New York City Mayor Rudi Giuliani. As he was giving the check to Rudi, he suggested that the US foreign policy is partly to blame for tragedies like 9/11. A day later Giuliani sobered up and returned the check.

That’s the way the Saudis see the Islamic terrorism acts in the west. Not that different from IR Regime supporters or the Iranian Tudeh-ei/leftists.

The soccer players and their entourage take orders from above. The last thing on their minds is politics. They're there to play a game of soccer and they certainly don't need any distractions in that already tense situation. 

I am not condoning their behavior. Just stating facts.
