This whole mess actually stems from the Ladies' side of the deal, since it the majority of cases their parents demand that there will be a limit to the lenght of time a couple date and try to get to know each other, Up to a year. After that, The guy HAS TO choose. They won't even spend any time going over all these essential details of their future life together...
There is that element of Surprise and LACK of planning ahead.
Hight expectations, Least amount of effort IS what plagues the Iranians.
