I think every Iranian "minority" that feels it has more of a connection to another country should be deported to that country. If these Arabs believe they have more in common with Saudis or Iraqis, then that's where they should be living, not in Anshan, the home of Cyrus.

I think chauvinistic nationalism is exactly what is NOT needed, how about looking at it as legitimate complaints by different Iranian ethnicities - there is no such thing as Iranian nationalities - which need to be attended to.

Wrong, you are painting a muddled picture and you well know it. Sounds like someone has been called to test the waters. throwing some talking points like "Referendum" in there for good measures. I'm glad to hear a resounding no from different corners that otherwise do not see eye to eye on pretty much anything else. Our recent history is full of precedents of different ethnic groups being used by foreign powers as puppets and playthings for the sake of reaching grander filthy objectives. In a nutshell, both the oppressor and the oppressed can and will play dirty when losing or gaining power is at stake and the last thing in their mind is the well being of their citizens.

None of the above examples are taking place in "oppressed" countries yet are fiercely opposed by these democratic nation's central governments ( two of which are constitutional monarchies). 

Additionally these are taking place in nations with deeply rooted democratic traditions where the people and the political establishment have experienced the pros and cons of democratic practice  and perfectly understand the limits and rules and practice of a pluralistic parliamentarian system.

Iranians never have and given the type of outrageous demands made by minorities often endorsed by irresponsible political wannabes in our Diaspora starting by our own clueless Shahrvand Reza I very much doubt naively satisfying any god damn separatist demand is a sign of moral integrity or "humanistic" concern but lazy and irresponsible political concessions made by irresponsible people with no genuine understanding of Iran's political and historical junctures. Merely an irresponsible temptation to copy and paste "Globalist" concerns into the framework of societies which much of the West infatuated Iranian Diaspora barely understands.

False dilemma (the either or fallacy) is the bread and butter of conspiracy buffs. Keep on trucking, perhaps, once in a while, with just a smidgen of logic for a change.
