also the other problem is she never give me any recipts.
Isn't it illegal to declare sexual-related expenses as tax deduction brother Seyed Javad?
Brother watson.
i understand your concern. but dont worry my brother the payments were for khums and zekat which are taxes according to mobin religion of Eslam to help the poor and needy. because there are not many Eslamic establishments where i live in florida i give the tax myself directly to the needy like the sister mentioned.
now where should i declare this on my tax form brother?
Declare it either as miscellaneous or as investment loss! :-)))))
it is a lot of money brother. about $4000. but unless i hear a better suggestion from other brothers i will try and let you know if i get audited. thank you for help my dear brother watson
Brother Seyed Javad,
I talked to my contacts on the Wall Street and they recommend that you declare the "Zaeifeh-Najibeh" and her "Korreh" as your dependents. That will reduce your taxable income by around $10,000. If you still need more deductions, see if she has a Najib sister.
I don't recommend that you do anything with her mom! IRS may audit you.
Brother Seyed Javad,
Declare it as office supplies, travel and entertainment, or just water bills.
Brother SJ,
First and foremost god bless you for your charitable heart other organs. It's unclear from your blog what she means by 'do...#$%#ing charity' but if I think there is a tone of anger and perhaps dissatisfaction with the amount of payment given and apparent frequency you give it to her.
However, if all is as you say then she should express heart felt gratitude for your magnitude.
As for tax implications here is my suggestion: If this is part of corporate activity then it certainly falls under business expense since she is not a 501C entity. However, you will get a larger deduction if you declare it as a charitable donation under your personal income (without receipt watch for audit)
What puzzles me with your question and shows a bit of molla action here is you seem to be a religious brother and likely belong to a mosque, why not simply declare yourself an exempt religious organization and never worry about taxes no matter where you put your money and things. Also, if you live in Nevada, her services can pass for charity.
Brother Faramarz.
These are good ideas. but my wife who has recently learnt english checks my tax return form and if this sisters name is mentioned on the tax form she might get bad ideas about what i have been doing. you know what women are like my brother. the other day she was checking my contact list on my iphone. only three years ago when i brought her to america from varamin she tried making a call on the tv remote control.
Brother Divaneh
I have already maxed out on these expenses you mentioned my dear brother.
Brother shashoo.
you seem to have some experience in tax preperations at a professional level my brother. Do you live in Florida? If so can we meet before april 16? declaring under corporate expenses is definitely a good idea.i'll look into that. the exempt as religios organization has been done by two other kebaab houses and a butcher in our area. but last year both IRS and other federal enforcement authorities started looking into their business for different reasons. I dont want that headache. sadly i dont live in nevada but have a cousin in clark county whom i am planning to visit in summer. Ensha Allah.
Brother seyed. The more I read your story and details around it, the more I conclude that at this stage you should be more worried about your wife than IRS!!!
:)
